Effram is an undergraduate pursuing a combined BS/MSE in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. He currently conducts research under the mentorship of Dr. Hui Zhang, focusing on the biological functions of PTMs using proteomics, multi-omics integration, and deep learning. His work includes leading projects on characterizing the interplay between protein glycosylation and phosphorylation, profiling engineered mammalian cell lines for biomarker discovery, and developing foundation models for expression forecasting and PTM prediction trained on CPTAC related data.
